Assistance is needed for the male client with hygiene, dressing, incontinence care (pants), and daily activities. Night care is required 1–2 times depending on his condition, as he becomes restless with the urge to urinate; lifting is not needed.

For both clients, aids are available: stair lift, barrier-free bathroom, and walker.
