We are looking for a caregiver for a client in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The client lives independently in a modern, barrier-free apartment. She is very friendly, warm, and sociable.

The client has experienced a stroke resulting in left-sided paralysis and right-sided ataxia, with a history of post-traumatic stress disorder. She has a suprapubic catheter, uses incontinence aids, and an enema is applied if necessary. Due to difficulties with planning and organization, she requires a calm and structured environment where her caregiver helps maintain a daily routine. The client enjoys grocery shopping together with the caregiver. A kind, positive, and patient approach is essential in caregiving.

We require the caregiver to have knowledge of English or Dutch, experience with a hoist (lift), and catheter care. In terms of qualifications, a caregiver course certificate or secondary or higher education in healthcare is necessary.

The work is conducted in 6-week rotations. We offer a remuneration of 100 € per day (on a freelance basis) + individual bonuses for experience, education, Dutch language skills, or willingness to drive. The ideal start is ASAP or in the first half of August.
