Caregiving for an 89-year-old senior (170 cm, 60 kg) who is physically very weak and is suspected to have had a stroke. The use of a wheelchair is required, along with assistance in basic life activities. She has lactose intolerance, so suitable foods must be selected when preparing meals. The Rewe store is approximately 1 km away, and the butcher and bakery are about 500 meters away. Family can also assist with shopping.
No night care or lifting is required. In the afternoon, the caregiver can, by agreement, leave the senior alone for 2–3 hours and spend free time outside the home. A day off can be arranged flexibly with the family.

The caregiver will have access to a private apartment on the upper floor of the family house, equipped with internet and a bathroom. A driver's license is required, and no smoking indoors.

Caregiving for an 84-year-old man with a height of 188 cm and a weight of 80 kg. The senior suffers from dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and general age-related weakness. His mobility is significantly limited, and he requires assistance and transfer to a wheelchair for movement. A spacious, furnished room with TV, private bathroom, and internet is available; time off can be arranged with the family. A person with very good German language skills is required, non-smoker preferred, and a driver's license is welcomed, as a car and bicycle are available.

The female client suffers from dementia/Alzheimer's, general aging, and very poor eyesight (blind in one eye, 60–70 % vision in the other). She moves independently, manages personal hygiene, toilet, dressing, and medication by herself, is mentally fit, sociable, and has a history of colon cancer, which occasionally causes pain. For the female client, it is necessary to maintain the household, do laundry, cook, shop (stores are 500 m and 1.5 km away), spend time with her, and accompany her on walks; night work and lifting are not required.

The male client has had a stroke, suffers from dementia and general aging, is kind, undemanding, with significantly weakened short-term memory, normal communication, and moves with a walker. Assistance is needed for the male client with hygiene, dressing, incontinence care (pants), and daily activities. Night care is required 1–2 times depending on his condition, as he becomes restless with the urge to urinate; lifting is not needed.

For both clients, aids are available: stair lift, barrier-free bathroom, and walker.
